Compart opens Subsidiary in Madrid

[Böblingen, May 27, 2008] – Compart Systemhaus GmbH in Böblingen has founded a subsidiary in Madrid, Compart Iberia S.L., as its Spanish and Portugese sales and support representation. The Iberian peninsular, from Compart’s viewpoint one of the most important European business arenas, belongs to those markets in which until now Compart has not been represented by either a partner or its own subsidiary. With the establishment of its own sales and service resources, Compart wants to expand our position in this market. Tomás Carrasco will assume the role of managing director in the new regional office.

For Compart this is a further step in its strategy to be present in all European markets, either through a competent partner, or with its own resources. Of real benefit to Compart is that even before establishing the subsidiary, Compart has already won a number of well-known clients in Spain, customers who are already productive with Compart products.

Tomás Carrasco as the managing director of the new subsidiary is sure that “Compart products have an enormous sales potential in Spain. The level of recognition of the products and Compart’s technical competence in this market segment will continue to grow also on the Iberian peninsular – for me a challenging task, which I very much look forward to.”

One of the first steps through which the Iberian subsidiary will become more visible to a larger audience in the document and output management scene, is participation at the Documation in Madrid from the 11th to the 12th of June as an exhibitor.
