Management changes at Compart AG, Compart Deutschland GmbH and Compart North America Inc.
[Böblingen/Boston, January 21, 2010] – Compart begins the New Year with a number of key management changes: Compart Germany has called upon Michael Benkner to take on the position of joint managing director, Thomas Funke moves from Managing Director at Compart Deutschland GmbH to Compart North America Inc. as Vice President of Technology, Jochen Maier assumes the position of Head of the Marketing for the central marketing organization of the Compart Group.
At the beginning of the year Michael Benkner, 39, was asked to become one of the Managing Directors of Compart Deutschland GmbH. Michael Benkner was previously with Hewlett Packard where he held various management positions in finance and operations.
In Compart Deutschland GmbH Michael Benkner, together with Jürgen Weinhardt will assume the role of managing the company. His responsibilities will focus on the areas of finance and administration, professional services and education.
Thomas Funke, one of the managing directors of Compart Deutschland GmbH, has moved to Compart North America Inc. at the end of January. As Vice President Technology he will be responsible for the expansion of Professional Services and Support and play an important part in steering the direction of the Product and Service policy in the American market. At Compart North America Inc., Thomas Funke is responsible for the management, together with Mark Maragni.
Since the 1st of January Jochen Maier, 41, has added depth to the company as Marketing Director. In this key function he takes on responsibility for all marketing and market communications.
Jochen Maier brings with him extensive experience over many years in marketing, business development and sales on both national and international stages. “After 15 fascinating years at different companies I was looking for a new challenge and am very pleased to have found this at Compart" says Maier about the change.
Jochen Maier follows in the steps of Dr. Werner Broermann who has taken a position as a Consultant with Zöller & Partner GmbH.
