The DocBridge Products Now Support PCL6

[Böblingen, October 24, 2008] – Originally created to support line printers then upgraded to support the early LaserJet printers, Hewlett-Packard has completely overhauled their PCL (Printer Command Language) print file format. PCL6 is not an extension of PCL5 but an entirely new object-oriented page description language. In addition, PCL6 is now a binary output, with the result a markedly smaller than file size with exactly the same content. Because PCL6 is an entirely new output language, Compart developed a new input and output filter for this PCL version.

Aia Software and Compart sign Letter Of Intent at Drupa

[Böblingen/Düsseldorf, July 14, 2008] – At the Drupa event in Düsseldorf, Aia Software and Compart signed a Letter of Intent to enter into an agreement governing the integration of the ITP Document Platform with DocBridge Mill. With this integration Aia Software extends the current ITP Document Platform functionality beyond document composition, aiming especially at the SME market.

First Exhibition Apperance by Compart in Spain Following the Founding of the Iberian Subsidiary

[Böblingen/Madrid, June 3, 2008] – Following the founding of a subsidiary by Compart Systemhaus GmbH at the beginning of the year, the new company, Compart Iberia S.L., will be participating as an exhibitor for the first time at the Documation on the 11th and 12th of June in Madrid. The event takes place at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos. Compart can be found on stand 424.

Compart opens Subsidiary in Madrid

[Böblingen, May 27, 2008] – Compart Systemhaus GmbH in Böblingen has founded a subsidiary in Madrid, Compart Iberia S.L., as its Spanish and Portugese sales and support representation. The Iberian peninsular, from Compart’s viewpoint one of the most important European business arenas, belongs to those markets in which until now Compart has not been represented by either a partner or its own subsidiary. With the establishment of its own sales and service resources, Compart wants to expand our position in this market. Tomás Carrasco will assume the role of managing director in the new regional office.
